Groin Sweat Cure - 3 Ways to Stop Groin Sweating

Groin sweating can be very embarrassing for anyone suffering with this condition.  I used to suffer with severe sweating due to nervousness and anxiety.  Sweating excessively does not always have to stem from anxiety though.  Many people sweat due to various medical conditions not related to anxiousness.  Sweating profusely is a condition called hyperhidrosis and it is treatable.  Here are 3 different treatment options for excessive sweating.

One way to treat groin sweat is to keep the area fresh and cool.  The hotter your body temperature gets, the more likely you will sweat.  Be sure to wear clothes that breathe such as cotton underwear and non-constrictive clothing.  Cotton helps to minimize sweat and keeps your groin area cool.

A second way to treat groin sweat is to keep the area dry.  After you take a shower, dry the area completely and apply a talcum powder (talc) to absorb the wetness if you sweat later on. This powder is absorbent and will soak up extra sweat throughout the day.  You can also carry the powder with you in case you sweat a lot and need to apply a little more.  Be careful however not to get it on your clothes!

Groin sweat can also be fixed by applying an antiperspirant.  You can get over the counter "clinical strength" or you can visit a dermatologist for prescription strength.  It is also a good idea to visit your general practitioner to discuss your excessive sweating in case it is medically related.  There are certain conditions which cause people to sweat excessively so it's always a good idea to be sure.
