The Government took search-and-destroy campaign to curb mosquito bites on war foot basis. Anyhow, they controlled the disease in an effective manner. Now it is a high time to know about how Dengue occurs.

You will get dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) and dengue fever, if you've bitten by a mosquito from Aedes aegypti group. This disease was first identified in the Caribbean in 1827-1828.

How Not to Lose Yourself in a Relationship

Are you almost always with your boyfriend everyday and every night? Do you find yourself not being able to spend time with yourself, family, and friends anymore? Does your life revolve around your boyfriend?

Being in a relationship may be the best thing that has ever happened to you, so you may think that you need to spend every moment of your life with the man of your dreams. But what about your friends, family, and other people who matter? What about you?

SEVERS

You may not know it, but you could be losing yourself to your relationship, which is not healthy for you or for your partner at all because it severs your ties with other important people in your life. With that in mind, here are ways on how not to lose yourself in a relationship before it's too late.

• Spend some quality time with yourself
To not lose yourself in a relationship, learn to set some time for yourself. You do not have to be with your partner 24/7 because who knows, you could be suffocating him. For all you know, he also needs time to spend with himself or with his buddies.

• Don't neglect your looks

You've gone through a makeover, you started dressing up well, and you've been watching your diet just to look better and feel better to attract Mr. Right. Now that you've met him and you're already an official couple, don't forget to take care of yourself, too. If you enjoy going to the parlor to get your hair or nails done, don't sacrifice that just to be with your man all the time. You wouldn't want him to realize that everything was just for show.

• Set some time aside to meet with friends or to be with your family

You wouldn't want to hear your parent or best friend blaming your partner for your change in attitude towards them, so to not lose yourself in a relationship, be sure to not neglect your relationship with your closest circle. After all, they were already there even before you met Mr. Right, and just in case it does not work out with him, they will still be there for you. Catch up with them by inviting them out to dinner, watching a movie that your partner doesn't want to see with them, or visiting them. They will appreciate the attention and it won't make them think that your partner is keeping you all to himself.

Gum Disease in the Elderly - Help Them and Prevent For Yourself

A read a statistic on the Mayo Clinic website that they estimate that 95 (ninety-five) percent of people will have gum disease beyond age 65. This is a tragedy that we should work to avoid.

disease proof your child

I was recently reading in a journal for the dental industry and the very question of whether the elderly have been forgotten in oral care or not was raised. I personally think the question is far more complicated than that.

DISEASE

You see, if Mayo is right, then you have to understand that almost everyone is on a crash course to develop gum disease. And if you weren't clear before, gum disease is a big problem. You can not only consider that you can lose teeth from gum disease. You also have to think about the many other diseases that research suggests has some type of link to periodontal disease.

You see, nothing is really definitive or conclusive about the research, but there are so many indicators popping up, that many in dental care already consider it a fact. Diseases like heart attacks, stroke, low birth weight babies, lung infections, cancers and even Alzheimer's are possibly connected to periodontal disease.

This is scary. Let us put science aside for a minute. Research is slow and requires funding. Let us instead use some common sense. What have people always done when it comes to buying a horse. From the 'old days' until today they all check a horse's mouth. This is just folk wisdom. They know that a healthy mouth reflects a healthy body. That is why they check. Don't overlook your own dental health. You have to work to not be one of the ninety five percent!
